Mojave Month – September 14-October 13

Mojave Month is a monthlong celebration of our desert home, with a variety of events for the public to enjoy, from live music to film screenings, California’s Poet Laureate to historical presentations.

CMC’s Community Education program features a diverse selection of classes taught by qualified instructors from our own community! This fall, you can take anything and everything from AI Art toYoga; filmmaking to dancing and singing; as well as self care, breathwork, knowing your own body’s health, writing, CADD, small business technology, building resiliency, tarot card reading, and desert history. Film Screening – Of Bombs & Men

Mojave Month continues with a special Mojave Monday screening of the documentary, “Of Bombs & Men,” a film about the scrapper community near Niland on the east side of the Salton Sea. Desert journalist and filmmaker Michael DiGregorio will be in attendance to introduce the film and conduct a Q&A. Admission is free.
