The Commencement Ceremony for all 2022 graduates will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 5:45 pm in the Bell Center Gymnasium.
CMC will award 262 degrees. Of those, 30 students are receiving two degrees and five students are earning three degrees. CMC will also award 53 certificates of achievement. Of those, one graduate will receive two certificates, two students are receiving three certificates and 45 graduates will receive certificates along with their degrees.
“We are so excited to be back to an in-person celebration of the dedication, commitment, hard work, and perseverance shown by all of the students who are graduating from CMC. These students have proven they can succeed even when challenged by a pandemic and, we at CMC could not be more proud of each of them,” stated Daren Otten, Ed.D, Superintendent/President.
The Commencement Ceremony speakers include: keynote speaker, Erin Itnyre Keeran, Master of Science in Postsecondary and Adult Education, Education Services Officer (MCAGCC 29 Palms); faculty speaker, Kim Martin, Early Childhood Education & Child Development; and honor graduate speaker, Heath Grimes, who is receiving an Associate in Science in Administration of Justice.
